Overall business value includes, but is not limited to, the following weighted variables:
- Client satisfaction reflects the ratings given to agencies by their clients on measures including ability to generate results and achieve goals as well as favorability.
- Quality of strategy reflects the knowledge, information, and insight agencies apply to clients’ strategies and campaigns.
- Client services reflect ratings given to agencies by their clients on responsiveness, ability to explain campaign processes, and client-staff ratio.
- Tenure reflects agencies’ experience in search marketing.
Market suitability includes, but is not limited to, the following weighted variables:
- Bid technology reflects the quality of bidding technology used in clients’ campaigns.
- Measurement technology reflects the quality of tracking tools used in clients’ campaigns.
- Employee quality reflects the level of knowledge and skills among employees of the agency.
- Internal search marketing effectiveness reflects agencies’ ability to achieve visibility in leading search engines for SEO-related searches.
Agency size includes, but is not limited to, the following weighted variables:
- Number of clients reflects agencies’ client roster for paid listings or organic optimization, as appropriate.
- Revenue reflects agencies’ annual billings for paid listings or organic optimization, as appropriate.
- Number of employees reflects those working in the agency.
